Congratulations to Bailey Harris on getting his Nationals Age qualifying time in the 100m breaststroke.  We are so proud of you Bailey.  Congratulations also to Mackenzie Harris and Jazi Wildin-Snedden on being Wide Bay Age Champions. Great swimming everyone.

Congratulations to Phoebe Hines and Sarah Thompson on fantastic results from the Australian Open Water Champs in Perth.  Phoebe Hines came 2nd in the 13 years girls 5km swim in a time of 1.02.59.21 and Sarah Thompson came 4th in a time of 1.05.57.73.  Phoebe led the whole way and was overtaken at the finish and lost by only 4 seconds.  Well done girls.

Remy shines at Sunshine Coast Sports Awards PDF Print E-mail

Kawana Waters superfish Remy Fairweather received the Junior Encouragement Award at the Sunshine Coast Sports Awards held last Friday night at the Hyatt Regency Coolum.   Not only did she take out the Junior Encouragement award, she was nominated for the Sunshine Coast Junior Sportsperson of the Year, she looked stunning and spoke with a maturity beyond her years while being interviewed.   Congratulations Remy - we are all very proud of you.
